FIXED ----- Another bug: After taking full damage on the submersive, the gnome dockhand told me I would need to pay to repair it. There was not an option to pay the 200 (which I had), only an option saying that I would need to collect it. * Excellent catch. The conditional script was missing. I looked in the toolkit and noticed that I did not actually get the challenge with the robot in the vault - he just says I won the challenge. * I was befuddled for awhile, and realized that if you played through the full game and won several psionic combats before, he'd claim you won the challenge. I now clear your score when you first arrive at the island. - When I touch the gem of TK (the 2nd time, so that I actually get the TK ability), I get the message saying underhill is completed. (and 2000 XP) * Fixed (again). - When first talk to dockmaster, I see that my ship from DW2 is gone, but didn't get value of ship added back into PC's gold * I keep adding code in to fix this one, and the fix keeps disappearing. If I weren't nearly done with the project, I'd switch to a different way of moving code around. - Three books (Tome of Holy Precision, A Practical Guide to the Afterlife, The Glory of the One) conveniently sitting on floor next to Fr. Andrew - easiest quest evah! * Oops. I put them there for testing, and just removed them. - Tried boulder conversation again, and still got the dup Daniel VO line ("Hold up, let me give you a hand with that") twice, even though only initiated conv once. * I think four different people mentioned this, and each time I cluelessly tried to fix something else. I played through, figured out what was going on, and it's fixed now. - Lilly ring conversation at Underhill (or wherever you run into her after Serpent Isle) same thing - get "It's a ring, very old" VO twice, second time over the "Let's just say there's a dolphin" text line, even though only trigger conv once. * Fixed. - If PC stands and watches valet automaton at Underhill strip and dress people and mannequins for a while, it will sometimes go to sleep holding PC's armor (happened twice with 2 different PCs). Armor cannot be found on PC, companions or mannequins, and if try to pickpocket automaton, it says the automaton has nothing to PP. * I did some testing with this one and it seems like the armor should be dropped properly when they deactivate. I fiddled some more and if you speak to them again, they'll try to drop anything they have again. What typically happens is that the armor gets shuffled between the PC, companions, and mannequins. Since you checked all of them, I'm at a bit of a loss. Hopefully my "just in case" script will help if it happens again. 1) During the dream sequence talking to Sheridan his voice is saying "the first betrayal is the easiest" while the text is something else * Ah - finally fixed now. Someone else pointed this out, but I was confused. 2) Can't figure out a way to tell Conley about Sheridan and Kendra * Excellent catch - I added some dialog to make this happen. 3) Or tell him about the map which is supposed to lead to trading for the priest's soul * Another "oops" on my part - the dialog was written, but you basically couldn't get there. 4) Island of flesh: can't find the treasure in the designated location. dug at 89-92,104-107 * Fixed. I also updated the readme so the treasures were better documented. 5) Developer's commentaries are still hanging around Fenril's shop and the tavern in DW3 * I got rid of the one in Fenril's shop, but couldn't find one at the Black Spot. 8) In the Clocktower after I kill the alien artifact the "corpse" disappears. Talked to the big golem when it showed up. Didn't get telekinesis. * I worked a bit on this one. In cases where you destroy the monodrone without dealing damage (somehow), a second script should fire that gives you the ability. 10) Hand of Corruption equips as a weapon, not a gauntlet. * Yep - it's essentially a club. 11) Trading at Iron Mountain is completely broken. Can't buy cargo, ships, ammunition, crew or weapons. The dialog asks "what kind of" and just gives the "nevermind" option * Good catch - it had the old style trading, which no longer works. I put in the new stuff. 12) Also in Clocktower, went exploring and killed a bunch of Sea Witches to get an egg. No idea what to do with it or where the "Sweet Lady" is. I'm assuming it's part of the Heather/Captain Jack subplot, but I have romance with Heather. Hmm, how would it affect Serpent Island if I had romance with Daniel? * It is. I now made it so that if you're not on a quest, you don't get the quest update. I also increased the cost of the egg so you can sell it if you want for a bit of cash. 13) Found three holy books - Precision, One and Hymns on the floor in Brighton Church. No idea how they got there. * Oops - fixed. Worked through a portion of the latest beta until I couldn't progress anymore. Here's what I got: Gamebreaker: When trying to area transition into the submersible, the load screen goes halfway and crashes. It says, "Completed Phase 1 of Area Updates," and then the game crashes. It's also a heartbreaker. I really wanted to finish on this run. * The infamous load screen crash is super annoying and seems beyond my control to fix. (I worked with you via e-mail and trying again from a previous save seems to have fixed this one). - When going into the basement at the Port Authority cellar, the guards reacted as if I were a prisoner. * I think the only way you can get down to the cellar is to break through the door. Fortunately it's pretty easy to escape. - My ship from DW2 was completely gone. * I fiddled more with this to remove the deed and give the player money when they come into DW3 from a new campaign. Theoretically the DW2 ship goes into DW3, but that hasn't been tested much. - Daniel's animal companion was in the water again. --> Maybe you could script them to not call the animals. * I added some scripting checks for the player's companion/familiar. I've never seen it with Daniel's familiar. * I got the egg at Underhill before I had the quest to do so. -> I received the quest even though I had no idea what it was about. - The quest should now only update if you've taken the first part of it. Valsharoon didn't start talking to me until halfway through the naval battle (replicated x5). - I sweated bullets on this one. Basically I continually try to start a conversation between the PC and Valsharoon, but the combat around them often delays the conversation for a good long while. If you enter a port with a fleet of ships without allowing them all time to get to the port, it spawns duplicates. When I defeated Valsharoon and began using the Ghost Ship, it has blank entries for crew (different numbers - replicated x7). This seems to have something to do with surviving undead crew. In the first challenge of the vault(teleportation power) i pass through the barred door, i install lucy's gem on the golemn. It says i should go pass right through the door but that door is locked. Can't be picked or bashed with no obvious way(for me at least) to proceed. * I added some more "just in case" scripts to make sure this won't fail. PENDING ISSUES --------------- Heather was running into a door during the "I love you" scene. -> appears to be related to animal companions getting in the way. 6) Lead ship spontaneously switches when I leave islands that don't have trading posts 7) The sea is full of copies of ships I've bought or captured 9) At least twice I've docked and found that one of my ships has lost everything - crew, weapons, ammunition, cargo - One last thing - I'm afraid I got the bug in which Heather had 1200+ skill points and I couldn't level her up. * This is a weird one and I can't replicate it at all. When does the leveling up occur? In DW1? Is she under any spell effects? Is there anything in the override directory? - Crash when transitioning to the sub area * I couldn't replicate this, but some people report periodic crashes when entering certain areas. Restarting the module seems the only hope, but if it's you're first time in the module, I'm not sure what to do. - About half the time, world map doesn't automatically go away after dock at an island * I think I can put triggers in different places to try and close it, or maybe fiddle with the island docking script. - No journal entry for Isle Diablo * Yeah, the island itself doesn't really have a quest, though a treasure map leads here, as well as getting tattoo patterns off the fire guy at the end. - At Clocktower with the different cargo buying/handling thing (like at Iron Mtn), picked up some wheat and fish. Icons went in my inventory. Sold them again right away and bought again, this time didn't go into inventory and didn't show on regular ship's cargo list at next port * The high seas game continues to have weird, random issues like this. It makes me cry. - Lore note when loading Underhill Clanhome - "With this power, one can shield the mind and body..." etc, but doesn't say what power it is referring to * Basically there's a bug in my tips.2da file that I've yet to track down. - Got journal entry and 'ching' when just entered area of egg - before picked it up * Not a huge issue, but it would be nice to get it in the right place. - Bought a Xebec, should have added 5 to crew and 1 to ammo, but only added to cargo * I think I just need to fiddle with a certain file that holds the statistics. - No PC-activated interactive conv w/ Daniel or Heather after first in the Black Spot, right after beginning of module - not sure if there is none or is problem * There are a handful of cases where everyone talks together (e.g. at the start of the Brighton Lighthouse quest). You should also be able to right-click on your companion and choose to speak with them. Was that not happening? - never-depleting torpedoes - yay! * I couldn't duplicate this one at all. Maybe recompiling the scripts helped? - Game options says "Torpedoes fired: 263" - used 6 or 7 at max - Wrong speech played during Queen's speech after this option (duplicate from above) * Fixed, but missing the VO. May not have time. - Went through both possible encounters with the "hand" ordeal for Daniel. If I didn't cut off my own hand and Drake took his, Heather would jump around between two point either side of my PC during the speech. Like I said, not that big a deal at all (: SMUGGLER'S ISLAND Jacob was facing away from my PC during the conversation with him.
